Pickleball Club Needs
Many of you attended the Pickleball Club meeting on July 20th but I want to summarize our financial position and needs for those who could not attend and ask everyone to make a voluntary donation. Our current bank balance is $8,600. There are three projects we would like to pay for this year: 1. Add two 10 foot Cabana Double Benches (between courts 4&5 and 5&6). This is our top priority project. 2. The Brick Fundraiser Project (goal is 100 Bricks). We will need to buy the bricks and pay for them to be engraved. 3. Reimburse Gary Crawford for the cost of the Concrete at Courts 7A & B. Current cost estimate for these 3 items are: Two Cabana's: $ 7,200 Brick Cost: $ 1,300 (approx $20 per brick sold) Court 7 Concrete: $ 4,800 ___________________________ TOTAL: $ 13,300 So we are currently $4,700 short ($13,300 – $8,600) of meeting our needs. Members at the July meeting suggested that if every club member made a voluntary donation of $20, we could easily cover the cost of the concrete and meet our needs. Some members have already stepped up and made a donation without being asked. Thank you. So I am asking you to consider making a voluntary donation of $20 per member and/or buying a brick. I have always been impressed with the comradery and generosity of the Pickleball Club. Please use the form on the right to make a donation or make out a check payable to the “CW Pickleball Club.” If you would like for the money to go towards reimbursing Gary Crawford, please add “Gary Crawford Concrete” to the memo line. You can leave the check in the club's mailbox in the clubhouse. Chuck Treloar Treasurer, Cresswind Pickleball Club |
